I found out with this site that you have to pause the video. Let it load about half way and then play it, and you will get good playback without it stopping.

"Stargazer" by Shawn Phillips, 1967. I just found this on YouTube two nights ago and have been listening to it over and over since then. Not on any CD and long out of print (I didn't even know of the song's existence until the other night).

He turned George Harrison (The Beatles) on to the sitar back in the 60's. Shawn performed with Donovan at the Royal Albert Hall in London last Friday (Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin also played). I'm going to see Shawn in concert in July so I am really excited!

May 1979. I was 19 then. I had been unemployed for a month or two after being laid off (sheet metal plant) and couldn't find a job. My father and I had a big blowout and it was "suggested" that I find somewhere else to live. I had just sold my car after it sat in our front yard for weeks with a sign on it. On the drive back from getting the title (a bank about an hour's drive away), this played on the radio. I had no job, no money and had to stick my thumb out on the road the next day. This song just hit me hard. Still brings a tear to this day.

No, someone just used a promo video of The Lemon Pipers (who had a hit with the song) and dubbed Mrs. Miller's vocals.
