Since nothing has changed on the neon, but I have changed the lights, grill, and emblems on the diesel, I thought Id show it off a little.
Here it goes...

How is the engine holding up? Any problems with it?

Its getting there, slowly.

Im about to start porting a Magnum head and manifold for the Neon. Trying to finish the firewall and floor in the '57. And now Ive got a full weekend (which are Sundays and Mondays for me) coming up to get the'42 Dodge.

So far, all the freebie mods are done, and Ive got a 4" turbo back with cat delete on it. Next is full pillar pod with gauges (priority is getting an EGT in before I go farther), and a SCT Livewire tuner.

Engine wise, for the ill-famed 6.0l, its been pretty trouble free. I lost an EGR valve, but the cooler stayed intact. (going to delete the EGR once I get the SCT). And right now my turbo vanes stick once in a while. It got new head gaskets and ARP studs sometime before I bought it, and its never puked in the time Ive owned it. It doesnt leak anything, not even from the rear main or bedplate like a lot of 6.0s.

Ive got 143k miles on it now, with no issues, other than the vanes. (still have a warranty through my dealer, so itll get fixed whenever I get time to take it in. I dont want to try cleaning it myself and find pitting, and then try to put it back together and get a new one after messing with it myself.)

I gotta say though, doing 4 wheel burn outs its fun. Though that doesnt happen often. The tires aret too expensive, but $175/ea. is expensive enough.

I was hoping you would chime in. It *is* white and back, I know you have a thing for that combo.

It's funny because this is the first time that I've seen it.

Other than that, we see A LOT of International engines at work.

Well, thats kind of what Im going for. Ive seen a few trucks on the diesel forums Im on with them, but not my same emblem.

As Mox (who, Im a little suprized hasnt posted in here yet) can attest to, there are a lot of other diesel trucks in this area. Though most of them are owned by douche bags living on mommy and daddys dairy money. Theres 3-4 white crew cab long beds like mine. But Im the only one Ive seen, in person or on the internet, thats white and black. Most every white truck has all clear lights and chrome and white painted shit everywhere.

I actually impressed that someone on here knew what my emblem was, let alone know anything about International.

Nice truck ;)

I work on International trucks all day long so I recognized the emblem right away. I like the look though, beats the hell out of the blue oval!

I work at a full service shop, so I see every type of truck out there. We don't do medium duty very much, pretty much Class 7/8 only. Most International semi-trucks don't even rock Int engines; usually Cat's actually. Not anymore though, now that Cat is out of the on-road engine game.

I know, kind of sad. I love Cats.

You get any kind of deals on parts through work? You're local enough, might hit you up for parts. lol. International parts are almost always cheaper than buying the same damn part through Ford.

I can probably get a few things but they're pretty strict about how often I can do it. The discount is usually pretty good, but it depends on the part. Some we only get a few dollars off, and some we get like 30-40%.
