I knew these things were bastards but had no idea they were capable of this. This one killed this fox and then proceeded to tear it to shreds in the yard across from mine. I chose to keep a distance from it since they're quite vile but I didn't know they were THIS vile.

That turkey should come to central Indiana- I have narrowly missed hitting foxes twice this week!

The fox was fine, it had crossed the street into the Turkey Vultures area. They are VERY protective of their areas I've been attacked by a few before especially if they have babies around. And well it got pissed. So it wailed on the poor thing, right for the neck and killed it. The fox didn't move at all after that and the turkey proceeded to attack mercilessly to his fill.

I had no idea something that big could move that fast....they're always slow as balls when they're crossing the street in front of you.

LOL Tam that's all I could read too. Real housewives of NJ. That headcase is married to a serious headcase. I caught a glimpse of it the other day when my mom was watching it. Her husband made her get "bubbies" (boobies?). Fucked up situation.

And the fox was little, but they're tiny anyways he couldn't have been too old or too smart if the vulture got him.

I'm really confused. In the picture is a turkey VULTURE pecking at a dead fox.

But in this statement, you are talking about an actual turkey. Not a turkey vulture. Because turkey vultures never "cross the street"....the don't walk around at all. The float around in the sky, and come down to eat. And that's about all they do. Regular turkeys DO walk around, they don't like to fly.

Turkey vultures NEVER kill things. THey simply eat what's already dead. Regular turkeys can be aggressive, but I've never head of something like this. That said, I do not believe a turkey or a turkey vulture killed that fox. UNless you have a video of it happening.

I watched it happening, but my D40 doesn't take video like some of the higher models do. It did in fact fly away shortly after it had it's fill back to it's nest or whatever they build in the people's backyard. I'm not up to date on the different types of turkeys or turkey vultures or whatever. It was walking around the fox, it indeed killed the fox me and two of my family members watched it. It lives in the backyard across the street. A bit further down the road there are more of them in an old man's backyard.

So turkey vulture or turkey, I saw what the vile creature did. Like I said they are territorial. One of them flew at me one day when I was getting out of my car in the driveway. I only had enough time to grab the D40, the only way I have of taking video is my Sony cybershot camera and you wouldn't have seen anything. Not to mention it has no batteries...the D40 takes precedence.

Yikes! Most couples argue about taking out the trash, not taking out the cups.

Yeah it's an interesting show to say the least. They worry about the most trivial, superficial and materialistic things on the planet.

Turkey vulture do walk around, I've seen them at the beach walking around and it fields. I've watched them attack seagulls too,but never kill one. Idk, I guess it could happen.

Ahhh okay the difference is clear. Then I have an excessive amount of turkey vultures living in my area. I had one rush at me one day when I pulled into my driveway. They have a nest in the backyard across the street and I guess they have babies there, which can create violence in any animal. The fox must have known this and been wandering over to feast.....Momma vulture didn't quite like that though.

And those things are protected? They're scary looking as all hell.
