After I got off work today I went to the mall when Me and my friend left the mall in Davie FL, when we got on Fl turnpike, a very bad storm caught us about 13 miles before our exit.
Doing about 65mph ok vision of the road ahead. but the car hydroplaned on a bad spot and off the road we go.
I belive my friends 09 Impala SS is done. not sure yet.

nothing happend to me, my friends has a small cut on his arm.

car is strong we hit it pretty hard.













I don't think my friend did anything wrong, it was a freak accident.
we going normal out of no where car hit water and spins quick and goes str8 for the grass.

and no neither one of us saw the puddle.Police man said there was another car that spun out of control and hit the wall few hours before when it was raining hard.

best of all we are both OK.

If the airbags didnt deploy..then by what I can see I'd sya that they are gonna fix it...but shitty thing is that it's now gonna be a "branded" car tho...that sucks for resale...

Let me ask you this, How are the tires before the accident? Were they wore out? 303HP to the front wheels doesnt exactly make tires last to long.

Brand new tires.
he got the car about 5 months ago, and spent 2 in Brazil on Vac.
So the car was not driven much.

Sorry to hear, glad you guys are okay. Still weird that he lost control with brand new tires. Must of hit a bad spot on the road where there was a puddle.

^^ Yea. car is built like a rock. i did not fell much of the impact. and the side airbags are cool too.
On star comes on about 4 seconds later asking if we are ok and that she has help on the way.
she stay on with us till cops got there.
pretty cool.

I dont think its totaled. Parts on that are not to bad. Prices are decent and being an SS it is worth some $$.

Funny about BRANDED, Its a Chevrolet Impala. It was branded when it was built!! Nice car but it is a POS. Chevrolet has really lost there touch with a decent automobile.

His monthy payments would be almost $2300 and that's is just monthy payments.

So I dont know if he is going to get it.

nope not at all his has bad credit. and is only 20 years old.
Imagine his insurance rate with that new SS.

My mortgage, car payment and insurance combined is lower than that!!!!!!!

Glad you two are alright! The car seems to have done it's job protecting those inside in an accident.

my house + the caliber + insurance on both cars + my cable/phone/internet bill + my electric bill is less than that.

From what I remember being told: The SC was only for one year. My friend has an SC one; pretty fun to drive . The next year they didn't put anything on the SS, and from then on it has been TC.

the supercharged cobalts were made 2005-2007.
turbo came out in 2008.

on my way to work today, some one ran a red light, I qucik turned the car to avoid him but did not manage to stop before a curb.
I belive my neon is also total loss. when i turn my wheels wont turn, control arm is broken too.
I got to car towed to my work and have not checked what elz is wrong with it.
when we towed the car wheels where both turned toward each other.

Everything seems to be going wrong for me.

you could fix that with junkyard parts for under 1k

probably need new k frame, control arm(S) knuckle(S) strut(S) and a steering rack.
