thats cool and all, but there is the over looked environmental impact of the batteries. They are toxic in not only their creation but their destruction. Only time will tell if their toxicity is better in the long run.

With that said, that guy gets props for doing what he is doing.

not only are the batteries more toxic but the elements used to make the batteries are very very much more scarce. If people think oil is gonna run out quick, if we build electric cars at the rate we build gas ones we will be out of minerals and materials to build the batteries before you know it.
