:-D Just picked it up today! It's a 2003 Audi A4 3.0L Quattro sedan. Say that three times fast :-P.

It has everything I wanted. Leather interior, power/heated seats (with electronic lumbar support!), sunroof, BOSE premium sound, 6 CD in-dash changer, Tiptronic transmission, sexiness, Quattro All-wheel drive, 3.0L V6 (220hp), more sexiness, 17" premium wheels, a trunk that could fit three dead elephants, dual-climate control, etc.

Out the door with taxes and registration/title fees it cost me $8,526.70. It has 104K miles on the clock BUT for an Audi of that year, in that good of condition, with all the trimmings, it is worth $13K. I'm very, very, very, very happy with my purchase. :-D Do you like?

I love everything, but the high miles.

Parts and service get fucking expensive on those cars, and around 100k certain shit just needs done.

However. I'd rock it

It's a good looking car, but just make sure everything was done maintenance wise.

And yes they can be very expensive to maintain. Make sure you run the right oil for your year. I think the recommendation is 505.1 oil, but double check that and make sure you use it.

I'll check on the oil, Frank. As far as Carfax, the dealer, and the 26 records on the car - the car has been perfectly maintained with all its scheduled maintenance (20,50,70,100K)including timing belt. The only reason the owner got rid of it was because they were trading up. I know from experience what can go wrong and how much it will cost with these cars because my dad owns an Audi wagon that has gone through ALL the bad stuff. I'm prepared for the worst. :-P

Oh and - Hell yes cassette player! I'll be rocking that never.

since the timing belt and all the appropriate maintenance was done then you should be fine.

the timing belts are insanely expensive.

Damn, nice find! I'd love to drive that car. It's got almost the same paint color as your rolled neon too!

So, what are the plans, Jeff? Or are you keeping it plain and boring?

That is a sick Audi, Danny. Right now I'm still more focused on getting my payments in on time and keeping every expense to a minimum. Maybe once I feel more comfortable with my bank account, I'll start upgrading. Right now I'm perfectly happy with how it looks. :-D

And it's not plain and boring :beatstick:

Sweet ride. I got a question though. Do you have to pay sales tax on the maintenence too when you get new stuff put on your car at like a shop or something?

That's a nice find. Got any major plans for it?

Not that I've heard of. I hope I won't HAVE to get new stuff installed though.

Right now I'm perfectly fine with how it looks. Hell, I just got the damned car! Right now I need to just get my payments in, plan my expenses, and keep making that buck at my job. In the future I see new rims and MAYBE a drop on some coils; We'll see. But for now I'm just gonna enjoy what I got, because: Ich habe ein sexy auto!

Thanks everyone! :D I absolutely love this car!

I'm planning on still coming to Carlisle next year. Whether I bring the Audi (if everyone is ok with me bringing it) or I hitch a ride from someone is still up in the air.

I don't kiss and tell.

Ya know, I looked, and looked, and looked for a standard, but I guess every Vermonter is too lazy (or stupid) to drive one. I found ONE, but it was so beat up, and surprisingly more expensive, that it just wasn't worth it. Audi says that their Tiptronic system, when shifted correctly, can be faster, smoother, and stronger than a standard; I believe it. Hell, I've already gone for some fast pulls and it's nice not having a lag between shifts.

Once again, thanks everyone. :D
