Hey I figured I would get some pictures up of the new car. I got it last month and took some pictures but have been too lazy to post them.

If you don't mind, how many miles and what'd you end up paying for it? I'm thinking about looking into a used R/T with a 6 speed next Summer/Fall.

I got it brand new and paid $40,000 for it, but my SRT-4 paid for about half of it.

The r/t's are a great car and the 6 speed was something that I wanted really bad but I couldn't pass up the deal I got on this one.

Wow, I don't blame you for settling for the auto, you got a killer deal on that! Around here the SRT-8s are still selling for upper 40s used! Hell, even the used R/T's are in the low-mid 30s.

Yeah, when I bought it I was contemplating selling it before winter for a profit and getting another one after winter but they aren't making them in orange anymore.

Good luck with finding one...I had one hell of a time trying to get one

I used to drive by an orange srt8 everyday after work picking up my son. I even went into the dealership once to check it out.
That would be my next car if I could afford it.

MyNeonSaysHi - Yeah it seems to turn everyone's head. A little more than the SRT-4 did. I sold my SRT-4 myself, and since I paid that off the year before, I got almost half of the down payment from the sale of the car. I didn't trade it in, otherwise that would have been the best dealer screw-over ever!

Moparty08 - I'll have to get some... I just got back from a road trip so it's a little dirty but when I clean it today I'll get some pictures of the inside. It's seriously one of the most comfy cars for the performance it has.

benzsxt - I love that car as well. Though you were very close in calling it. It's a 71 SS I couldn't afford a 70 Chevelle even in the worst condition. I was wondering who was going to spot it and say something about it.

David - I think you might change your mind if you drove it If I play my cards right I can see 25 mpg on the highway...haha
