i would pay the guy 40grand for that, I have a soft spot for 430s :).

The only problem is the lack of power, it needs a huge ass turbo kit.

but hmmmm, somehow it is poor to build such a "lookalike". If it is no Ferrari - don't stick Ferrari batches on it.
What is the idea for this progress?
To drive by and make them believe it is a Ferrari and he has the money to buy / drive one?
And then - if the mask comes of?
Everyone will laugh about the wannabee.

Sure - a lot of work.

But somehow it is just a penis-prothesis.

It is like wearing a fake-rolex that everybody thinks that you are rich. But - if it is uncovered you are the biggest idiot.

Or to stay on our level:
Nothing to say against SRT bumpers.
But if you install then a wannabee intercooler and SRT-batches = pretending more than it is just to earn "fame" = dumb idiot.

im my opinion this car is sick in the cense that he did allot of work to it and it looks amazing almost like an actual ferrari and yeah i get what you mean about it not being an actual ferrari

He didn't do that much work, I mean he put it all together sure, but he bought a kit that's pre-made to look like that. It looks like he made a few things here and there, but the majority of it was all bought. At least that's what I got out of reading the text that was on there.

I just can't get past the fake, lift up, plastic "engine"

I still think that its cool even if it has a fake engine cover. Kit cars have been around for a long time.... I owned a 86 Fiero GT and was thinking of doing a kit on it, with a 92 bonneville supercharged engine, then I bought the 01 R/T that I have now... lol

So much fail

Everybody go find you local exotic dealer or Ferrari owner, drive one or at least get a ride there is so so much more to an Fcar than the look

The noise, the weight of the controls, the offset driving position, the vibration, the fact that no matter what you are doing every sensory input is ringing as if you were going through bridge corner at Monaco, everything about a Ferrari makes you feel happy. Everything about every toyota Ive ever driven made me feel deeply deeply sad

and the insurance of one too. If he runs around telling everyone is a ferrari he's a tool, but if he calls it a kit car hes less of one.

But you're wrong so so wrong.

Call your insurance agent get a limited coverage quote for any V8 Ferrari you will be surprised how low they are.

You will struggle to get below $1/mile in a real one however it is so worth it. I cant explain the feeling you really have to drive one I thought the same way that they are neat a wonderious piece of art but just another sports car. I then found my dream Ferrari at a local dealership(91 348 GTS Black/Tan) no car before or since has ever left me speachless.

DRIVE A FERRARI these fakes will begin to sicken you as much as they do me

yea. it's just that simple.

fuck the fakes.

i'm with bone-yard. there's nothing like a ferrari, i've driven my neighbors super-america a few times; it's literally perfect in every way.

A final thought if you're going to copy a Ferrari why not pick a pretty one?
