Bugatti Veyrons do not like water

Painful to watch.
In this Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009 photo, wrecker driver Gilbert Harrison, with MCH Towing, attaches a towing cable to a Bugatti Veyron that was driven into the water near Omega Bay in La Marque, Texas. A man blamed a low-flying pelican and a dropped cell phone for his veering his million-dollar sports car off a road and into a salt marsh near Galveston.

I hear insurance for the Veyron is around $15k a year. Hard to have an insurance company insure it.

And fill it did. I can only imagine what the interior looks like. Then again I think the undercarrage would be the biggest issue now.

we now know the man is Andy House of Performance Auto Sales in Lufkin, Texas. The shop, ironically, specializes in repairing wrecked exotics. We contacted House for a comment and here's what he said:
From now on i will not be on my cell while driving next to a lake.

after reviewing the tape in fullscreen, i see the bird get hit.
