Dude. Derek. Seriously, maybe you or I could of stepped to these guys, but I don't blame Trinity for just taking a step back and just calling the cops. Nothing in either car was worth her putting herself in harms way. As far as chasing em down, after about 5 steps I would be left in the dust. So I will let you chase em down and I will catch up and give you some back up bud.
Good point I guess I didn't think about it that way!

Sorry to hear about this though Tina, I was just pissed off when I wrote that last one. HATE people who mess with cars.

That sucks T. Hate to see someone's pride and joy get damaged like that.

Since they ditched the pin, hopefully they will ditch the key too, maybe one of the locals will find it when the snow melts?

they do... but its not going to be free since there is other minor cosmetic damage inside the car. And its the sunroof... so the possibility of more damage is there. I was told to claim it as more than glass damage.

I dont know of any free glass fixes unless its just a crack. I know they do those free. I was told a sunroof is pretty expensive and that Its only really expensive cause its thick, tinted... and install is a bitch.

I think she meant free as in covered under insurance.

Awesome that they're going to clean it! Yeah I meant "free" as in covered under insurance. When my car was broken into they offered to have a glass company come to my house, and install the glass for me (we were getting a blizzard that day). It was "free" because my insurance covered it and I didn't have to pay the guy. However they offered this after I had already paid to have the glass installed and asked to be reimbursed for it.

I can understand why they told you to claim it as more than glass. Are the scratches on the roof able to be buffed out? Thankfully it's getting fixed. :)

If you still have no response from your insurance then you call them and bother them. tell them you need the car and that you need someone to come look at it quickly.

yeahhh apparently the first week they had it.. they somehow assigned it to an adjuster.. and then another.. but didnt really tell the first one it wasnt his and the second one wasnt cleared to check it. blah blah buncha BS.

and because of the snow... trucks couldnt get around and the parts just got there this past friday.

the adjuster did say for the past week though they took out most of my interior and cleaned every bit of glass up. So thats nice! no crunchy ebrake!
