I am working on building my garage. I am trying to get a clean layout, but also trying to remember, it is just a garage, a place that gets messy. As of about 1 month ago all I had was some falling down battered looking benches nailed to the frame work, there was no drywall or the such, it was at its bare minimum. I will post a pic of my progress now. I want ideas though. Please if you have some awesome garage pics, please post them. I will post mine in a few minutes.
I want to go with recessed lighting for the flush mount and I like the look of it, but I might have to opt out for something more realistic, since it is a garage, where I can have alot more usable light. My garage will fit 2 cars (though it has one garage door, it is the oversized door. So, I still would like to use one side for a pool table.

This first picture was taking today ( I don't have my garage completely finished, still has alot of work to go.) But this will give you an idea of how it was looking before I got started on it.
This second photo is of the back wall of my garage it is about 5/8 completed on the drywall. But this has my mini-fridge, flat panel and radio.

In the third photo is a wall completed. That is also the only window I have in my garage, so that is where I am going to put the window air conditioner at.
That is my progress so far, I am doing all the work by myself, so it takes time and energy.

Now that is a garage

. Are those vehicles personal, or are your parents using it for business?

Vehicles, tools, quads, tractor, etc.. are all personal.
Red and Orange neons are mine. Black neon and Ram are my dads. Mom's car isn't pictured.
Adam... Sorry for your loss. You have my condolences.

Is that from a fallen tree or did the wind destroy it?

It looks like wind.. A tree would have crushed most of the poles you see sticking up.

yeah, I don't think there is much insurance coverage on wind damage. Sucks.

Lawl. No insurance on a $200 carport that says it isn't made for extended use. There was snow piled on it, etc...
I got recent pics of my Neon, Chris. It's still alive and kicking.

Are you going to work out of this garage too for business? Or is it just for pleasure? What is your bill up to so far?

Wow, cabinets, hoists, refrigerators, tools... My garage is three walls and an overhead door so no pics. The concrete floor isn't sealed and is starting to come apart. There are two lights in my garage and one of them comes on if you open or close the door.

My garage is the same size as my bedroom (which is directly above). I can't open the doors of my car to do vacuuming if the car is parked indoors.
