This Friday is the 60th Anniversary of the Korean War. Just a link I snagged. There's 48 pictures to look at.

Wow... being in our "war" and viewing these pictures.
It's crazy.... I don't think I could imagine what it'd be like.

Neither could I. The armor that we have now and the medicine. During Marjah, I think those were the top two as far as saving Marines' lives. One guy got shot in the kevlar; he lived. Another one got shot in the SAPI plate; it stopped the round. Our Corpsmen are kick ass too. We've had several guys get shot in the chest, but were saved. There's going to be a lot of Purple Heart recipients in our Company from this deployment. I'm glad I didn't get one.

My late father was drafted into the Army and rose to sergeant. He didn't talk about his experiences in Korea much- I think that what he saw during his tour of duty really left a scar.

Obama said it. Not our government. And yes, they are all corrupt, worthless, spineless, and evil.
