Something new for ricers to copy. I'm guessing this will be on the streets in two weeks.

I've seen this before on road racers. If you look at the car it probably doesn't have any real downforce on the front end and with the power that car is making it needs downforce to keep it planted at speed.

i have seen this car in person i almost sat inside untill the security at sema came up to me and told me that if i didnt stop faping over cars and trying to sit in them i had to leave its pretty cool actually

What sucks about that, is that when enough ricers see this pic, they are gonna start putting those big ass wings on the front of their cars..

I saw this in a Import Tuner magazine before. I was like "what the hell??"

If you watch videos of him driving this car he does extremely well in the front wheel drive time attack, i believe last year he won quite a few competitions. I guess his crew said it was functional, but as a couple of you said hopefully ricermania doesnt see this and starts to copy.

I have a new trend, that i hope they follow instead...

that spoiler will not help in slow speed but in an accident it will nicely fly into drivers face...

and it is ugly!

i thought therefor they make special front bumbers???

VIR, Big Willow, Sebring, and, LRP are some of their favorite tracks and there is nothing low speed about any of them.

They do make special bumpers if you notice at the bottom of the bumper there is a splitter. Building said splitter correctly and/or less rear wing would make that front wing unnecessary

i looked at all the other pics, and i must say that is a shit load of work....

and the car looked sweet before they did the ricer front spoiler mod.... but function over looks when it comes to time attack!

This is old news and it is functional at track speeds. Its about as rice as GST's gigantor spoiler's or LIC's splitter that has its own zipcode. In other words not rice at all.

Lamborghini released these on the Countah a bazillion years ago.

These guys are winning in their respective classes. Their record speaks for itself.

Understood.

It is NOT rice..... *on the racetrack*.
It would be fully functional, at racetrack speeds.


The PROBLEM is, some kid with a Honda, YO, is going to see this, and mount it on his STREET car, YO.

Now THAT, ^ would be RICE.
All it would do, is add weight, and make their cars even slower.
