2010 Dodge Caliber
Brilliant black(there are other colors besides black out there? lulz)
Mainstreet "edition"
24 miles(33 after I got her home)

Here she is. My bmw decides it didn't want the sub frame anymore. So it tore itself from the car. A common problem with the e36 and some e46(Trogers had the same problem and that is why he traded his in.). So I needed something new. But what. We(me and Drea(she is a a member that some remember) had wanted a suv or something to haul some things. Nothing crazy. But better than a car. And for the price. The Caliber was the best thing for us. Nice and cheap, plenty of room to haul stuff(her moms bf owns a big ass ram so if we need we can use that for bigger things), comfortable, and its a Mopar! It suited our needs perfectly. Not the coolest looking car in the world but not bad in black. I've grown to really like it.

Future mods include: Tinted windows(this is a must and a soon purchase), probably HID fogs, a cover to hide the exhaust which is visible from the back, and other very small things. Nothing crazy at all. But some to make it just that much better.

This is my first new car ever and first time I have ever had a warranty. First time with a loan too. But just like all my cars I plan on keeping it till she dies.

She is nothing more than a daily so I wasn't looking for much in a car. I have other toys to go fast, look good, drive low in. Just nice and simple. Plus it has working A/C!!(non of my cars have ever had working A/C.) Plus she had a damn cooler build into it! Keeps my beer cold!!!!!!

The neon now has another dodge buddy. She's so happy! lol.

So that now makes 3 hondas(Honda CBR600, Honda accord, Honda civic) and 2 dodges(Neon, Caliber) in our driveway/garage haha.

Let me know what you think!

Don't count on that cooler too much. All it is is redirected a/c or heat. It pretty much sucks.

Nice. :) I love that new interior in the Caliber. Wish mine had it. :( Rear struts are a bitch to pull if you want to lower the car, just an FYI for you.

Did you remove the engine cover, or was it just not there due to cost cutting? Not that I would miss having to remove it, to work on my mom's. Congrat's on the new car!

Some didnt come with the cover. I hate the new 2010 dashs. The 07-09 was so much nicer. Get a MyGig its the best money ive spent on my Cali

I have no plans on lowering it at all. It never came with a engine cover there.

And ya didn't count on the cooler lol.

as for the dash I think the exact opposite. I think they are 10xs better. Not nearly as cheap and boxy looking. As or my gig. Ya would be cool but I don't care at all. I don't need it. I have 1 year free xm and it has the mp3cd player. Plenty for me. Remember this is just a daily beater. Not a toy at all. The neon has all the toys. The bike is to go fast.

They dropped the engine cover on the 2.0L motors in '08, same with the separate turn signal out back on all models. Which sucks. I'd like to have turn signals out back that aren't the brake light. For '10 the dropped the 1.8L engine completely.

I approve of the new car, Dan.

I also approve of Dodge dropping the 1.8.

Thank you for buying an American-made car. I think that Fiat has definitely improved what Daimler left behind. I still prefer Neons though.

This.

The Cali really does have a lot of room when you fold the seats down. The wife's SXT comes in handy a lot.

Indeed. We are loving the extra room.

Thanks all! Window tint coming soon!

Yes it does... I need to upload the picture I took of all the toner I took to get recycled in mine. I forget how many I fit in it, but I know I fit enough that it took them 3 or 4 trips on their cart to unload it all. :D

Edit: Found the picture.
