From an email circulating... Graphic, but necessary.
I think that Australia should be complimented on having the guts to "tell it like it is" and get this campaign out to all of its licensed drivers and to air it on TV...it is very moving and very life like so it has a very strong impact this holiday season. Please pass it along to all of your friends and maybe you can be responsible for saving some lives.

Seriously people, this is 2019 not 1920.
Too much time spent here is a sign of a bad case of Ownaneonvirus.

Of course, since audiences here tend to view violent images as entertainment, it probably wouldn't have much of an impact. :dontknow:

[quote="Midnight_Rider"]Kudos to the Australians. THIS NEEDS TO BE ON AMERICAN TELEVISION NOW!

I know what you mean. Now days the violence of DUI's in this country is nothing to the American public. :banghead: I myself and my wife absolutely will not tolerate alcohol in our house or vehicles. Because of it, and now we have twins on the way. Makes me even more scared of what kind of world they are going to grow up in. :banghead:

Just saw this video at our safety stand down meeting this afternoon. I hope it sinks into the heads of my Marines for the holidays.

It's all about making the right choice. We always say party with a plan. If you want to drink, make sure you have a way to get home without it involving you driving.

The good thing is that statistically DUI is becoming less of a problem now that the full force of the law is taking its toll. But they say a drunk driver might get away with it 1000 times before they are caught.

holy shit..

it really makes me wonder how they even get this on tape though.

i think this is kind of related to the whole "manly" act. like visiting a doctor.
they think they don't need the help or that they can do it themselves.
i think its even worse when theres other people in the car with them.
if i know im driving somewhere, i definitely limit myself.

wow. just wow. i dont do the dumb shit i used to, that's for sure. i got lucky many a time, while being completely stupid. this video should be on American television. but i agree, many Americans would view it as sick and twisted "entertainment"

needless to say, i've grown up a lot since my "younger" years, some of you have been round the boards long enough to know what i'm referencing.

I actually received this in an email the other day and I was going to post it here but thought it was to graphic. But since someone did post it here, I hope you all have a safe holiday season and watch out for each other
