I think these will fit the Neon...

:D :D :D :D

With a lil bit of fine cutting and trimming they should fit without any rubbing issues whatsoever. Who needs stinkin' lowering springs to get rid of wheel gap?

Actually I'm kidding... I bought these for my Durango..

Image

Slightly bigger than my old MT's that I burned off in 2 years. :(

I'll be able to have more fun in the mud again (I've been afraid of getting stuck with them bald like they are now.. lol)

And of course the aftermath of such event...

Nice. I like those newer style wheels better than the older style too. Is that a 4.7? Is so, be carefuls if you don't know they like to overheat and warp heads.

Surprised you noticed the difference. I'm putting the newer 01-03 wheels on it (16" vs the 15's that are on the truck now)

Engine is a 5.9L.. However, it came with a 5.2L when I bought it. I swapped the engine out of it with a 01 R/T 5.9L.

I won't touch a 4.7.. sludge monsters. :P

haha yeah I'm fairly versed with that platform. My brother's company has an '01 Dakota with a 4.7 with almost 300,000 miles on it  It's had many radiators and the heads replaced a few times due to overheating and employees beating on it but it never dies. The body is in good shape too.

5.2/5.9 ftw. A while back I was trying to buy an '00 Intense Blue quad cab sport 5 speed 4x4 with a lift but the asshole kept jacking me off so I never got it.

Reason why I traded my dakota in.

They is on.

Got 'em installed finally. :D Truck is still filthy.. Maybe this weekend I'll get around to it, and yeah I know I need exhaust tips.. I got the exhaust redone this winter and didn't want to ruin good tips over winter.

Hard to believe this truck looked like this in '08. :o

So far I've put maybe 50 miles on them, and they seem to be pretty quiet. Now I just gotta find the mud! :D

Looks amazing!! Ryan it does look like he has the towing mirrors on there. My boyfriend had those on his 99 for awhile, we called them Boat paddles .

I like what you have done with it though. Makes me miss my 02 R/T :(

Yep, those are the newer folding, heated, and autodim mirrors. :D

As far as the grille, I still have a black one for it. I found the chrome one and wanted to switch it up a little bit so I put it on. I may swap it back over to black sometime this summer :)

Although it's not built for it, what di you think it'll do in the 1/4??

Those Kumho's are a great tire! I've considered them for my 4runner when my BFG's are worn out. They look good, drive good on the road, and handle mud pretty well too.

Sludge monster 4.7's you say? My dad owns 3 (a couple of '01 Limited Grand Cherokee's and an '02 Dakota Sport). Zero issues with any of the motors. All have over 100k, and one Jeep has 170k. Curious what causes the sludging....besides the obvious lack of oil change.

Not sure what it runs in the 1/4. No interest to try as it's not built for it.

Though, guys with the same S/C, engine, and in a regular cab Dakota can run a 13.9-14.4 or so. Though the Dakotas weigh a tad bit less (The Durango weighs 5000lbs) So I'd have to say with my big ass tires it probably runs as slow as the Neon does in the 1/4, haha.
