Man turns into big balloon from Air Compressor

This is crazy!!!

A New Zealand truck driver said he blew up like a balloon when he fell onto the fitting of a compressed air hose that pierced his buttock and forced air into his body at 100 pounds a square inch.

Yup, it's one of the biggest dangers to using compressed air.

People don't realize that if they have a little cut in the top layer of skin when they blow dust/dirt off of themselves they arm will blow up like a balloon.

Or cause an embolism. It's unlike it could happen but there is that possiblity.

Ya, I read about this one yesterday.

Being a former semi driver I've heard and see a lot of shit involving the rigs... but never anything like this story. Wowaa.

also - and it is no joke - very dangerous to hold compressed air to someones "rear end"!
Just a little amount of air is enough to slash the rectum.
That will be a very ugly exitus!

forget about blowing up like a baloon.........dude's super lucky the air didnt go into his bloodstream......he woulda been dead before the paramedics arrived...

My friend had helium injected into his body through his thumb. It traved up his arm and eventually escaped through his skin. He said it was like he had rice crispys under his skin. And it hurt like hell.
