The best thing about the US version is that it is made at Belvidere and not Communist China. Yeah Gramps, we know, we know...

From a field of 40 vehicles in every price category, the editors of WardsAuto World have selected the cabin of the 2013 Dodge Dart as one of Ward’s 10 Best Interiors for 2012.
Only vehicles with new or redesigned interiors are eligible for the award. Other winners of the Ward’s interior honor for 2012 include the Audi A7, the Infiniti JX35, and the Chrysler 300 Luxury Series, placing the value-priced Dart in some very impressive company.
“The new 2013 Dodge Dart is the first of our next-generation interiors and we are honored that WardsAuto World has chosen the Dart for their 10 Best Interiors list,” said Klaus Busse, Head of Interior Design, Chrysler Group LLC. “We are able to give Dart customers a well-crafted, high-quality interior similar in its execution to that of the award-winning interior of the Charger and infused with exciting colors, eye-catching ambient lighting, and state-of-the-art technology.”
All 10 winners will be officially honored May 17, 2012 at the WardsAuto Interiors Conference in Dearborn, Michigan.

After years of incompetence and humiliation with the much-derided Dodge Neon and other models, Chrysler is desperate to reclaim its rightful share of the compact-car market.
We averaged 24 or 25. To be fair, we were on highways and country roads mostly and were trying to open up the throttle. But when I took a different model out on some local errands in Austin later, driving mostly city streets, I used a much lighter foot and didn't do much better.

Wait, so flooring it on the highway and grannying it around the city gets the same gas mileage? Who knew?! Derp.

Seems like everyday for the last couple weeks I've seen Dodge Darts, some with the wrap, some with just manufacturer plates, getting on the highway near my work on their way to Alligator Alley. Must be long term test mules working out or looking for problems.
Also saw a couple Fiat 500 Abarths with manufacturer plates and barcodes on every panel (they looked like they had been to hell in back) last week.

I'm surprised that I haven't seen more around here making their way from Belvidere to KTP for ATX testing.

OK...stupid.
Sorry, I had too.
The way the bolts work is that they thread into the hub. You would have to find a stud that was just the right diameter to be able to press it's splines into the threaded hole and not rotate. The shoulder thickness, length, thread size and pitch would have to be correct as well.
Not imposable to do, but I don't know if it would be worth the effort.
If I could just figure out how to meld the Outback and the Neon into one car...

ok, so what does that mean? do you need special rims for this application or do regular rims work? I would think the only difference is mounting hardware, am i right?

You are right. It shouldn't affect wheel choices, just how they mount.
