What I did with a blown up neon engine.

Got the glass from IKEA. Not a bad table for 25 bucks. Once I get my LEDS in the mail there will be red and blue lights that will cycle in the cylinders to simulate compression and decompression.

Love it! Very creative.

A girl in my wines of the world class in college made a wine bottle holder with a brake rotor with 4 pistons and rods welded to it. The top of the piston was welded to the rotor and the bottles were held upside down in the rods. it's awesoem what ppl think of.

pretty cool, what would've been cooler is leaving the engine together - the head, and puting a small electric motor on it so it turns the crank slowly, then add the LED's like you said. that would be tits

funny, i was gonna do a similar project. mine was gonna stand on end so that the cylinders could be used to hold bottles of liquor. but then my block magically disappeared from my yard over christmas break

Here I was going to do something similar as well. Going to pull the rods and pistons out of the block, put them in the bores upside down, and use the rods to hold up the table top.

Its a bit low for now. I may add a few valves as feet to bring it up a bit more.

I did one like that with a crankshaft for Passt one christmas, and I've always wanted to do an engine table. Loks like I'm heading to eBay to find one after seeing how easy you made it look, lol.

Thats very cool. I was thinking of making the crank into a table lamp. But I dont need one so I threw it out.

Theres an old jag at my local junk yard. Id love to take the v12 and make a huge table for my living room.
