If I have to have a Subie not made in Lafayette, IN, I'll stick with a Forester. The one you pictured is nice looking though.

Believe me. I'm well-aware of why the car was built. I just think it would be a more capable and all-around as* kicker if it had the AWD. It would also appeal to more of the Subaru community.

The formula being used has been done a thousand times and the BRZyotaScion is no-doubt a very nice bang-for-the-buck little ride.

It'll give the TC guys something to graduate to as they enter Junior College and desire a car the ladies they are trying to impress don't already drive.

296 hp available at 2000rpm's...

It'll be interesting to see what an STI version with supporting mods will do. I have no power til 3500-4000 or so. The launch on these should be insane with typical Subaru torque output and AWD.

Nah, legacy goes for 23 sticker at base. 25.5k in premium, and about 27.8k for 2.5 limited. Now if got a 2.5gt with turbo......expect somewhere around 31k sticker. It was for a 2012, right?

yeah i had to take a second look at the car. he told me it was an impreza but from the picture it is clearly a 2012 legacy. He did tell me " its nothing special just a 2.5i". So I am guesing he bought a base legacy.

$24k for a base Legacy? Couple grand more and he could have bought a 2012 WRX.

answer to the question is definitely the Evo.

from your link above.
A big motivator for Subaru moving the WRX and STI to the smaller 2.0-liter turbo is, of course, fuel economy—the current 2.5-liter is thirsty. It goes without saying that more power and better efficiency for the next WRX and STI are good things. Now all we have to do is wait for the duo to arrive.
I think they are seriously discounting the Fuel Economy the EJ25 gets in the WRX. I typically get 26-28 mpg on the highway in the WRX. Not bad for a 265hp; 0-60 in under 5 seconds type of car. Smaller displacement doesn't always equal fuel economy. My Evo averaged 18-21mpg on the highway and the 4B11 has a half liter less displacement.
