two questions, if i were just to use the harlan rpm switch to trigger the motor at 4900rpms, would i need a tach adaptor to run the harlan switch?
and its the harlan RPM switch correct? since im only opening it after 4900rpms.
and im assuming the switch has everything to program it?

the harlan doesn't need a tach adapter.

[quote="dawm"]Non-Magnum Wiring Diagram (Supplies - to MTV)
Image

Ok not to beat a dead horse but Im finally getting ready to get this thing installed and have a few ?'s.

Im going to be using the diagram above correct. I have the harlen rpm switch and Im picking up the WOT switch soon. I basically need to know what the program points should be. (I have an 05 ATX so keep that in mind).

To my understanding the mtv motor with this setup will not turn on unless WOT and the set rpm's are met Correct. I believe the harlen allows 2 different "trigger" points. (on off on).

Lastly does anyone know what wire I need to tap into on my TPS. Let me know what some suggestions are. Thanks again

ok i have a couple auto salvage yards around where i live, when i go i have been looking for the metal magnum intake manifold. if i find one what else do i need from the car when i pull it? i read earlier in this post that if you just bolt on the metal manifold it will work. am i correct in that? and all of the parts needed for this install is to make a sxt move and act like an r/t? last question when you guys say MTV that is referring to the manifold throttle valve right? and last last question is there noticeable power gains with doing this because i have an SRT-D im making look like an SRT-4 slowly and i would like to do this for now until i get the funds to turbo my 2.0 because ill need the metal manifold anyhow.

Just the manifold and the MTV motor which is attached to it on the left side. Make sure you grab a bit of the wiring to tap into. You might also want to snag the Bellows tube. It connects the manifold to the throttle body. It has a slightly different shape to it than your stock one.

It would be on the passenger side of the IM if that's what you mean.

Only the R/T and ACR have the MTV set up.

Edit: pic without MTV motor attached...

Yes it will run, but only through the smaller, longer runners. The top end gain will not be there. (Kind of the whole point) There may be some gains in the midrange, but not the punch at 4900 to 6750.

ok i have an atx those gains will still be there correct. and does the manifold have two different internal pipes to which the air flows through. like one that is normal and then one that is opened with the MTV?

Yes. Gains will be less noticeable with the ATX tho.

Another pic. I thought I had internal pics in my PB, but apparently not.

No. Only in the for sale sections here, and neons.org

Tho it would be awesome if someone sold a plastic version of it. The Magnum IM weighs a ton compared, to the plastic IM. Even tho the difference is prolly negligible in the grand scheme of things, I have wondered how much the weight gain takes from the power gain.
