I just put in my in dash dvd player and was wondering the "proper" way to bypass the wire that goes to the transmition checking to see if its in park? when i do it according to the wiring diagram, it doesn't work. but when I put it to the dimmer switchit must be at the darkest setting. thanks in advance

damn, i didn't even see this before....

most of them have a wire that either must be grounded or supplied power... the color of the wire should tell you.
