how does the infinity basslink compare to an 8" powered bazooka tube? i'm not looking for the pounding rap sound, just a nicely filled bottom-end that is somewhat limited without a sub. also how do you wire in a powered sub with the stock hu? thanks.

The basslink system should have speaker level inputs(front and rear). All you need to do is splice into your rear speakers, and run the wires to the speaker level inputs on the system.
Check this pdf if you want more info on the basslink, especially check out page 3 for install tips.

The basslink is better then the bazooka tube, but still has limited thump as compared say getting an infinity perfect 10" sub in a tuned encloser, with an amp to boot.
The basslink system and bazooka tube, are really ment to just give some added base to a stock system, by still leaving room in the trunk. If you don't care so much about the added room, then you are better off getting what i suggested above. If all you want is a little quality bass then your stock system, without blowing your ear drums, then the basslink should suit you just fine, just dont' get the bazooka tube, the sound quality is garbage

the basslink is alot better than a tube, if you can find one find the bass-link2 its alot better and its expandable unlike the original basslink

nope, i'm using a stock hu and utilizing the speaker inputs to send the signal and trigger the unit. we'll see how it goes.
