Just A Question.

Um, it probably doesn't make a difference but still figured I'd ask. I have 2 10" Subs in a ported box. Does it matter which way you're subs/box is facing to help it thump better? Right now I have it facing towards the trunk & I have my Sub's setting on Reverse. It puts more bass into my car and less into the trunk, I do believe. Used to have it on Normal, but just made my trunk thump & I couldn't feel my bass. I was wondering if making them face towards the front of the car or straight up into the air will make any difference, and what setting should I have my Sub's on? Reverse or Normal? Thanks.!!

wow, I believe I might actually be able to help out on something.
alot of people will tell you to face them towards the trunk, I have two 12 inch subs in a non ported box...there is too much stuff in my trunk at the moment for me to change how my setup is, but I would recommend facing them towards the inside of the car right up against the seat...fold your back seats down with them facing the inside of the car. you will have alot less trunk rattle and you wont have to turn the bass up louder to get your desired amount. I know with the way my subs are facing right now (toward the trunk) all it does is rattle the hell out of my trunk, and I have to turn it up more to get the bass I want. (when I do turn it up, I hardly do anymore).
anyway, I say point them towards the front with your seats down. I hope I helped you out some. also it should be less detectable by the po po.

^Yep, you sure did. Yeah, I think it's a waste to have all the bass/thump in the trunk. It's dumb for everyone else to hear your bass, instead of yourself, lol. But Thanks very much, bro.

I wouldn't suggest facing them up. In my T-bird, i warped the crap out of my trunk lid with 2 RF 12's and 1k watts. It was pretty nasty looking, not to mention how bad it hurt to see my spoiler flip-floping down the road when the nuts holding it on unthreaded themselves. It was a fiberglass trunk lid, idk if that made a difference, but it sucked.
