factory deck with aftermarket sub? sorry very noob!!

hey im a noob when it comes to audio so was just wondering what id have to do to make this work. i want a single 12" with amped sub and 6 speakers. first off (sorry really noob question) can i run all this off one amp? or do i need 2? 1 for sub and 1 for 6 speakers? which is best? and secondly, i like the stock look so how would i hook this up, without any worry of damaging amps/ speakers, to stock decks? is the stock 6 cd changer a better idea? im pretty sure thats what comes with the kicker and that works somehow so... lol

In order for you to add subs to a factory setup is to have a LOC (line out converter) connected to your rear speakers. A LOC splices into the wiring and has RCA outputs so you can use your amp.

With what you want done, sounds like you may just want to go ahead and replace your head-unit. Sounds better and not to mention better tuneability.

Not sure how the Kicker set-up is wired, someone with that, that has torn into it may shed some light on it. But, if it were me I'd just bypass it all
