Speaker Replacing Advice + Amp

Post by deep1ca » Mon Jul 09, 2007 12:44 am

Hi guys, I wanna replace the oem speakers to even out the sound because there is gonna be two 12'' 360watt RMS subs in the trunk with a 700watt rms amp.

If im running those subs & amp in the trunk, what sort of speakers & amp would you guys recommend for the rest of the car? Would I even need a 4 channel amp or would a aftermarket deck be sufficient?

Thanks.

it depends on how loud you like to listen to your music, how good of speakers you get, and how much distortion you want to hear. Personally i would go with a nice componet system up front and some good 2 ch 6x9's in the rear run off a 4ch amp. since you have polk subs why not go with polk db or momo series? they're excellent speakers and have decent prices. i would try car domain their audio store has very good prices and fast shipping.
