stock cd changer problem.

stock cd changer problem.
My stock changer doesn't work basically. When I turn the car on the lights on the changer blink. First the right 3 and then the left 3 lights. I tried to put in a cd and it won't load the cd. Anybody got any ideas as to why it's doing this? It has done this since I got the car but I haven't gotten around to looking at it until recently.
