the earthquake site says that the 12's are as listed:
MODEL: DB-12 Street Pro
1000 MAX
Frequency Response = 25Hz - 1.1k
Sen = 89dB
50 Oz magnet
2" polymide coil (4 ohms)
Sandblasted pressed pulp fiber cone
High roll santoprene surround
Jet-black, textured basket
Stitched leads
MSRP:199.00
i don't know where you got your info
but either way. i've learned that it's a safe bet to go for an educated guess of RMS being around 1/2 the peak/max

ibought these a year ago before street pros came out mine have a red ring around the outside. the rms should be anywhere between 400-600 though i dont know that for a fact. I wouild assume there pretty close to the street series ones and found out there 4 ohm....so can anyone suggest an amp or should i just sell them

that makes no sense...matching a amp to subs doesnt matter if the subs are single dual or even quad voice coils. it matters on the final ohm load when there wired up in a series or parallel.Hudson_Neon wrote: if they're single voice coil and you run an amp for dual voice coil you'll pop them real quick
to the OP, to check jsut see how many pairs of terminasl there are. if 1 set of black/red then its single if two sets of black/red terminals then its dual.

so you have 2 SVC 4ohm subs, so they can either be wired to 2ohm or 8ohm. I suggest wiring them to 2ohm. & using this diagram & you can use these amp. or you can look for something that does 800watts RMS @ 2ohm.
