is there anyway to keep function of my kicker livin it loud system with sub on an aftermarket headunit every says the sub wont work ?

it escapes me at the time, but what i did was i went back there and found the signal line coming from the radio. now this is the part im not sure about, i got the signal wires at the factory harness behind the radio and i dont remember if i connected it to the sub out on the new radio with spliced RCA's or i taped it into the regular speaker lines which if i did i would have "briged" it across the rear channels which is only possible if your not using the rear channels (high output side) for anything else

anyone else done it more recently? have a more specific idea?(thanks considering atleast i know it can be done now lol
