If the vehicle has factory alarm, arm/lock is negative trigger thru a 2.7K (2700) ohm resistor, and disarm/unlock is negative trigger thru a 7.5K (7500) ohm resistor, use double pulse for unlock.

Power Unlock same wire as power lock

Parking Lights (+) black/yellow + steering column

Headlight purple/white + steering column

Left Front Door Trigger yellow - driver kick, harness to rear
To avoid the dome light delay use tan (-) in the driver kick for the driver door and blue/orange (-) in the passenger kick for the passenger door(s). Use both wires and diode isolate each.

Trunk/Hatch Pin tan/black - light in trunk

Trunk/Hatch Release brown/lt. blue - switch in glove box
Also found at the Remote Keyless Entry Module in the top center of the dash. Remove the dash top to access.

Tachometer black/gray A/C outer wires at coil OR uncommon wire at injectors

do u have a diagram for the left window button, theres more then just 2 wires. thers i think 6 wires for the electric window switch, tryin to hook up a second switch to make it go down.

its 4 for each window one is +12v ign the other is ground plus the 2 going to the actual motor

the 2 wires listed are what turn the actual motor one gets + the other is grounded, to make the window go in to opposite direction you simply flip the polarity, same with the sunroof

RELAYS must be used when interfacing with these wires as a 5wire setup; or use DEI's module which is basically 2 relays

standard relay (SPDT) they come in 4 or 5 prong. your gonna need 2 for the door locks... one for lock... one for unlock. your also gonna need resistors of the right resistance to trigger the door locks since both lock and unlock use the same wire (lt. green).

how the door locks work is the RKE has a 12v constant supply and the lt.green line is a ground line to complete the circuit inside the RKE... if you ground out the line the RKE will read a completed circuit of 12v. so adding resistors changes the circuits voltage and depending on the voltage it knows to lock or unlock the doors.. its nice because your lock system runs off a total of 4 wires instad of 6-8 wires

What do you mean with ,. the door triggers, it says
Left Front Door Trigger yellow - driver kick, harness to rear
To avoid the dome light delay use tan (-) in the driver kick for the driver door and blue/orange (-) in the passenger kick for the passenger door(s). Use both wires and diode isolate each.

What diode should i use for an Viper alarm?.

Thanks.

I used a standard 1N4001 Diode. It should be within specs for your application. Your can find them at radio shack.

ill explain why you must use diodes and what they do for people who are reading this and are like :-k

a diode is basically a one way valve for D/C current. and in A/C current they are used to convert A/C current into pulsated D/C current... for example there are a bunch of heavy duty diodes in your alternator. your battery is used to smooth out the pulse from the alternator

the drivers door uses a different trigger than the other doors so in order to detect any door other than the drivers being opened during a break in you must connect both wires. the problem arises because the alarms only have one door trigger input.

now another problem occurs when you connect both lines to that one input on the alarm. when one door opens the car will see all 4 doors open. this may cause some issues later on if not immediately with your electrical system so in order for everything to work correctly you have to use/make a "Y" from the alarm and on both sides on the "Y" are diodes right before they tap into both lines.

now it is possible to put the diodes backwards and if you do the alarm wont detect a door being opened. if i remember correctly the stripe faces the alarm

Great answer "Craz1000". You have explained here too briefly. This kind of answers can find in this forum only this is the reason I joined here. I am new here.
I want to know How the whole Car Electrical System Works? Actually I am buying used Honda accord and before I purchase I want to do whole study about its electric system.
