The only thing I can think of off hand is to upgrade the cable from the alternator output to the battery as the additional amperage may fry the fuseable link by the starter.

I don't have any problems with my PT 130 Amp alt. And I just have the big 3 done. ANd I draw alot of current with my air ride compressors and system so. You should be good

do all PTs have the HO Alt? There is a PT in a junk yard near me. I may have to make a run to check it out. Would i be able to use my stock belt?

no, they vary from year to year and model to model. best thing would be to get the vin of the pt in the yard and run it to see what it came with from the factory. 05 neon's produced after may of 05 came with 120A alts.

yes, you go to high and your regulater can go "crazy" attempting to, in lame terms, decide were in the world to put that energy. But i'm guessing if you had some kinda high output draw alot, say like our airride......you'd prob be ok while driving, etc.

im pretty sure the neons had the regulators built into the alternator itself, so youll have to buy a HO with an internal regulator if not your gonna have to get one.

very true, unless you wanna runa external regulater.
