Projector HID

has anyone thrown 55w hid kit ontt thier neon with those projector headlights sold on ebay.

ive heard that the hid bulbs will melt the projector housing cause its made of plastic and not glass. i just wanted to know cause i have some spare cash and i wanted to finally get those lights but i also want an hid setup

hid runs cooler than halogen.

Theres a lot of good information that glasswars put together here. LINK 55W is about the power dissipation of halogen bulbs, so you should be fine.

i just thaught of something, that housing thats on ebay (the dual halo one) dose the main bulb that goes into the projector spot, is it H1 or 9007

Both are H1 bulbs.
