damn damn damn please help!!!! i need it quick w/pics

so chrysler again screws me.. says 6.5in door speakers.. bought some and went to install them at like 1030 at night

come to find out that chrysler makes some wierd bracket on there speakers.. now what do i have to do??? they can never make things easy.. please help.. im speakerless right now..
speaker peice..stock speaker...new speaker
stock speaker fits right in with the three prong bracket into the plastic peice
new speaker doesnt fit right in... nothing too screw into unless i make my own holes.. do i need to buy a bracket??
if you need better pics let me know of what..

lol, im still right here. I have never seen that before... I'll look around for you for something.
Can you get a picture in better light of the rear on the OEM speaker.

I had the same issue. I just made some holes. They work just fine.

use the spacer, if it isnt for that spacer your magnet would prolly interfiere with the window track, my type-r's are so deep that i had to put a spacer on the spacer to BARELY clear the glass.
get used to it tho every car manufacter is doing this

I just screwed my own holes and it fit fine.

yup just screwed it in.. works fine so far.. actually pretty good speakers for what i paid for them.. im suprised

I have MB Quartzs in the doors and I just made my own holes and mine are fine

you just need to make some mounting holes since the stock speakers are more like 6 3/4" not 6 1/2".
