Ok I have a 2004 sxt neon and was told there is a 80amp alt in it. I have 1300 watts total rms with 2 x 1400 hv kinetik batterys. I have still getting dimming when played real loud. I have 1/0 gauge wire through out and have also done the big three.
May you guys suggest a alternator that is a direct replacement for me. I heard the pt cruiser has a 120 amp, will this work and what year curiser had it?

You should get an after may (I think) 2005 neon alternator. It is 115 or 120 amp.

yep. sxt's produced after 5-05 have 120amp alts.

there is also a store on ebay called Iraggi who sells direct replacements.
