kenwood head unit

i called ultimate electronics for a wiring harness and they said to hook it up you have to CUT the stock harness and and splice the new harness is that true?

Thats false. They sell harnesses with the that connect directly to the stock one.

i went to walmart and bought the SCOSCHE dash kit and a connector package but the connectors dont fit the kenwood KDC-116S head unit so whaat do i do this is what i have......

so what im i suppose to do

Auto Tech installers at your local Best Buy have a pigtail harness that you'll have to ask one of the installers, one of the sales people may not know about them.
All you do then is take that harness that plugs into the factory wiring and hook it up to the harness that came with the deck. I just went through this recently as well when installing my deck. I'll look up my receipts tomorrow so I can get you the sku #. It'll probably be around $10-$12 for just the harness though. You can also just tell them that you need that harness for your car.

well i dont have the harness for the head unit so what do i do now can i buy a replacement one?

www.installer.com you can buy your kenwood harnes there. you can also buy a kenwood to dodge harness that way theres no cutting or splicing....NEVER buy shit from wall-mart... because thats what it is.. SHIT
but in all honesty, you actually better off getting rid of that kenwood and buying a pioneer or alpine, the audio isnt as dirty
