I have the EXACT same screen you guys are talkin about in my 83 D-150 and we just bypassed the ground BS entirely and found a code on the Interwebz that unlocked it. Its been a while, if I can remember Ill post it up.

I was never able to get that code to work so I just made that switch

Just connect the e-brake wire to "ground".
That works with all radios AFAIK.
