I know dual is an OK brand. I have some of their stuff and it works perfectly fine. Mine question is how do indashes fit in neons? I"ve seen them covering the AC vents and i'm not too crazy about that

i have a pioneer and it dosent cover the vents, it covers the controls but not the vents.

the xo-visions arent gonna fit

double dins wont fint in a neon unless you have a whole new center dash bezel made out of fibreglass and if you got the money for that you got the money to not buy wal-mart stuff

spend the extra cash and get a pioneer, i can prolly get you a deal on one jet give me a price and ill see what i can do here at the store

and Dual isnt an OK brand, Sony, JVC or Kenwoods are OK brands, Dual is the stuff that the bottom of the bottom dosent want any affiliation with, more so with XO-VISION

If you dont want the screen covering the HVAC knobs then you could get one of these but the screen is tiny IMO

Just stack up and a good quality piece

I don't care if it covers the knobs, just not the vents.

I just want the BIGGEST screen possible that will fit comfortable in the neon

Suggestions!?!!?!?

Please. My deck is dead :[

Well then getting a 7 inch screen. shouldnt be an issue. Its up to your wallet though.

the biggest screen ive seen in a flip- up is 7". again your radio has to be DIN and therefore your limited to 7", MOST are 6.5 tho

if you want i have pics of mine look at my car at the 2gn garage.

i have a pioneer AVIC-N2 and thats the typical size for flip-screens 6.5"

I have a 7" Jensen that I've had for four years. It does cover the vents, but its no issue really. Its not a touch screen though, I didn't want a touch screen....I'd rather have a remote. Call me old school but thats how I like it.

U can go with a 6.5 or 7" screen it doesnt matter cuz they both fit fine. It all depends on how much u wanna spend, search da web some times u'll find a bad a$$ deal!

What did the double din installation require?

scissors, grinder, body filler, and i used the brackets of my old fog lights to hold the radio in place.

my friend bought the same thing from wal-mart, I think it sounds pretty good.

Yeah I got one from Wal Mart too

Yeah i'm just having trouble getting it to play videos, it requires a ground from the E-brake before I can use the bypass code. Is it possible to get to the E-Brake Ground wire without removing the entire center console?

On the how to i believe it says that you wont be able to see what your doing when your putting the codes or whatever they are.

You should be able to use a constant ground, that way you can play porn while you drive.

Trust me i've been tearing hair out over this and read many how to's on this.

You can't enter the codes or get to that screen until you get the blue "DO NOT WATCH MOVIES" screen off...which needs that special ground.

It cannot use a constant ground. We've even used 2 batteries and pulsed them...we spent an hour messning with it

CAN YOU get to the center console ebrake ground without taking out the whole damn thing!? There are screws beneath the arm rest...does that work?

I don't get what's special about the e brake ground. Isis different than other grounds? You would think it would just complete a circuit to make the brake light on the dash come on.

My dad said it might be a resisted ground, but he wasn't sure. If so then that would make sense because a regular ground is not doing it. I would've loved to just put a self tapping screw into the floorboard and call it a day. We even tried tapping into the ground from the factory radio harness and it didn't do anything.

u gotta hook it up to a toggle switch, so turn the radio on, Make sure the movie is playing, that way youll kno that it worked. Now flip the switch on for 5sec and flip the switch off for 5 sec and flip it on again and it should show the screen.

Yes, exactly what I did. FOR EVERYONE WITH A JENSEN UNIT doing the override:

1) Hook the E-brake wire to one slot
2) Hook up a grounded wire to one slot
3) Switch it back and forth (2 seconds inbetween)

Use a switch like that
