Parts needed to add '03+ fogs??

Ok, So my brother has an '05 sxt, but it came without fogs and he wants to add them to the car. Question is, what all is needed to add them? I'd assume the wiring is tucked up in the front somewhere for them? Do the fogs mount directly to the bumper, or the core support??

Parts and P/Ns if possible would be greatly appreciated.

The obvious are:

-bumper with fog cut outs.
-left and right fog lights
-MFS with fog option. (he already got one)

Ok, so what else is needed electrical or otherwise??

Thanks!

EDIT: ok, so after looking in the How To Electrical section, I found most of the answers. However, I would still like to know part numbers for the OEM parts if possible, and what exactly is there, and what is needed. Thanks guys.

I know that BRR posted them for me when I first joined here in the Part # request section. They're about $65 MSRP. They will have the whole mounting brackets too. I can't find the post now and dial-up still sucks so I can't really help you much but spin you in the right direction. If you need any help, just ask. Whereabouts are you?

Hey Thanks. $65 a piece for the fogs? Because someone here is selling a new pair for $100 so i'll have to check. I'm in Pittsburgh btw.

Ahh if you were in the area I'd say stop by and I'd help you out. When I called on one from my local dealer they wanted $63 a piece so it could vary. If I were you I'd just go to a junkyard and get whatever you can get your hands on.

Well If I can get the new ones here for $100 for both, may as well. I'll have to see what my brother wants to do.

if you want to add oem fogs on a non fog car, you're going to need a fog bumper, foglights, and the wiring to go from the rad support to the fogs...

as for how to turn them on, either a switch mounted in the cabin somewhere spliced into a couple wires, or, get a MFS w/ foglight switch

if you need a bumper, i have my old one off my car, needs repairs and paint, but its the right bumper, and it already has the holes drilled at the bottom for a lipkit...

ill hit you up on aim soon to see how things are going

thanks bud. Yeah my brother already has the MFS we were just curious as to what else he needed to do this conversion using OEM parts. I'll have to talk to him.

On a side note, my sideskirts came from a dodge dealer $118 shipped! I'm hopefully gonna mount them Friday, and do the front and rear soon after. My thermal will be coming soon too. I'm getting excited!

If you need it...

Front bumper with fog holes...part #05101772AA...MSRP $394.00

Fog lamps... part #5303482AF...MSRP $62.70 each

Fog lamp wiring...part #4794870AC...MSRP $90.00

The catalog doesn't list what that wiring is, but it is usually a jumper from the lamps to the harness.

Dante: thats the harness that goes from the rad support plug to the foglights...

That's actually a newer part number, it superceded an older number, and the price jumped about $50. I have on my car, one of the LAST units i could find before the new number and new price. its the same exact thing as the new part number, so i dont know why its worth that much more, but whatever, i paid like $40 for it...

I didnt go the MFS route because i wanted my fogs to be on when the sidemarkers were on, so mine are wired into the sidemarkers via relay.

if you dont get the fogs from dodge, call up modern performance and order the DEPO replacements, they cost less if i remember correctly...

I thought I read that the Depos chrome reflector backing got messed up after a while?

you're reffering to jT's post....he bought used depos, so God only knows what the previous owner did or how long he had them...
