4 disc changer

does anybody know why my stock 4 disc changer with my stock head unit might not be working? no lights on it, no matter what button i push on the head unit....maybe i forgot how to use it? idk...

the only fuse I could find for any of the audio was the fuse marked radio, which is not blown...the radio works, just not the changer...

pull the stock unit out and check the harness plug. if all fine there, pull the cd changer out and check the plug. unplug and plug it back in.

ok, as for pulling out the head unit, im assuming that you just have to take the trim bezel off, then the two screws on the sides of the head unit....but for the cd changer, how does that come out?

Pull the cover around it out with your hands. It will snap out. There are then two phillips head screws on either side of it.

This is assuming its the changer in the lower part of the dash in front of the cupholders.

On the stereo bezel, pop your HVAC knobs off first, then pop out your vents, there are two phillips screws in there, take those out and just pop that out.

The cd changer bezel just pops out like Crystal said.


Dumb question, but you are using it with the stock stereo right?
