Amp for my Pioneer Speakers?

I need some help. I am looking to buy an amp for my pioneer speakers. The front speakers are 4 ways, and the rear speakers are 3 ways. The pioneer speakers are the A Series speakers. I bought them about two years ago off ebay, so I don't have any info. about the wattage on them and what not.

I went to a local custom audio shop near me and they recommend a kicker amp, but I think they only sell kicker and JL audio.

I'm not looking for anything that's expensive, and I will install myself. I'm just looking for something to give me better sound, and better sound quality at higher volumes.

I also use a panasonic aftermarket headunit.

first thing. get rid of that panni if you want good sound at high volumes.

second, get a pioneer or alpine with 3 preouts.

third, pick up a MRP-F300 with some quality cables not the ebay crap

forth, smile and enjoy your speakers' full potential

$80 shipped to your door for a 4 channel amp. your choice of head units is just that - your choice, but there are better brands and models available.

looking for quality sound, then your going to need a radio that dosent clip or starts to clip past 90% volume. the only 2 i know of that dont clip at all are Pioneers and Alpine so i always recomend those, if and when i find another then i add it to the list.

you also going to need a clean amp, among the cleanest are JL's AB amps, but you stated your on a budget so i recomend the MRP-F300. its clean as long as the radio is clean, and its priced very well

you can add jvc to your list. i have a kd-sh1000 that will blow away just about any pioneer or alpine except the 800/880 or 9887 and it is just as powerful in features. the only thing the 800/880 has that mine doesn't is a left/right 16 band eq which really isn't needed if the system is tuned correctly.

i would but that JVC clips at 75%, im not judging by power or features, im judging them buy the quality of the audio that comes out.

if you put alpine. pioneer, sony, kenwwod, JVC all at max volume the list will go like this from worst to best.

Sony, JVC, Kenwood, Pioneer, Alpine.

even at max volume Alpines NEVER clip, pioneers clip at 98% and some dont clip at all. the kenwoods are at 80-90% and sony and JVC are at 75%. your welcome to grab an oscilloscope and contest these results but im sure youll find the same results

i am not getting into this arguement with you again. we all know that anything posted by you is gospel and cannot be challenged, at least in your mind, so there is no point.

Thanks for the input. I'm still not sure what I'm gonna do only because I am transferring to a new college. So, I will look through the amps you have listed and see what I can do.
