Ordered 9007 need h1's!!!

Post by srtgtr34 » Sun Dec 28, 2008 3:40 pm

I just realized that I ordered the wrong size bulb for my hids that I have on the way. On the vvme website their was only 4 sizes listed
h4-3, 9004-3, 9007-3 and h13-3. I wasn't even thinking about how the projectors have h1's.,

I just found out the answer to these questions so disregard them.
I learned that their bulbs will work with any of their balasts.
So how am I going to fix this? I am looking for H1 bi xenon bulbs but can't find any, I don't see any bi's only the single xenon. I know a couple people from this site order from vvme, so how did you get around this since they don't have h1 size listed for the bi's? And one last question would I be able to buy just single xenon bulbs instead of the bi's if I can't find any? Or is their something in the ballast that would determine if I could?

One more question. Is it possible to buy 2 6k bulbs and 2 12k bulbs and install one in the high beam slot in the projectors and the other in the low beam slot of the projectors? I was thinking about this because I could use 12k for shows and such and when I get on the road switch them back to 6's.

I have a set of 4300k bulbs and 6000k bulbs on the way from vvme since they are so cheap, even if my idea wouldn't work above I can have a backup set.
Thanks for any help.

why do you want bi xenon bulbs for the projectors? they use (only) single beam bulbs

and you could run those other bulbs in the high's but youd need a second hid kit to run them.. 1 kit per 2 bulbs..
