4300k for highs and 6000k for the lows???

Post by srtgtr34 » Mon Dec 29, 2008 11:57 pm

Ok so my hid kit is on the way along with two sets of bubs, 4300k and 6000k. I want to be able to run the 4300k's as the high beams and the 6000ks as the lows, so now my question is how would I do this? I know I would need 2 ballast's but how would I wire a second hid kit up if their is only 1 plug for the headlights? I can imagine you could just splice them in together but then how would you determine if the high's or lows will be on?

Any help is appreciated.

You would essentially have to do this circuit twice

The red wire up top would feed the coil of a second relay that would provide power too your other ballasts.

The thing that sucks about this setup is if you're flashing your high beams. This would cause repeated power cycling to your high beam ballasts.
