hooked up HIDs now car wont start, battery drained

hooked up HIDs now car wont start, battery drained

i got a xenoneyes HID kit and i hooked it up and about a week later i went to start my car and nothin, i changed my battery and everything i got it started and its fine until i turn my radio, heater or headlights on then it quits alltogether, my guess is the altenator but i was just wantin to be sure

ok so car was fine for awhile but now my battery is drained, a brand new battery completely dead, everything is hooked up right i dunno whats wrong with it has anyone had this problem

sounds about right to me. probably just a coincidence that it happened after the hid installation.

i would also check all your wiring for the hid setup again. there is a good chance that you are grounding out somewhere and that is draining the battery as well.

ok so it says in the kit that some vehicles might need a relay, does a cars need this? what is the relay could this maybe be the problem
