"FUSE" on my odometer

I have had my car in storage for the winter and i am starting it up every month and letting it run and shit well the one day i went to start it up and my speedometer went all the way to 120 the 90 then 60 then 30 and same with the oil temp went to hottest then back down... my odometer read fuse my car started but barely, about two days later i tried starting my car, and my battery was dead... my uncle says i need a new battery but idk if its that simple. has this happened to anyone else please give me some insight. thanks

It vary well could be your battery. What you saw happening to your gauges was your cluster resetting. This could be due to a low voltage supply to the cluster.
I would try charging/jumping the battering, and checking for blown fuses while you wait. I'd put my money on the battery though.

If I remember right, the PCM isn't getting power when it does that whole routine. Things to check:
Battery power - Does it turn over when you try to start it or just click? Anything at all?
ASD/Fuel Pump Relay and fuse - The power to the ECU runs through the fuel pump wiring, and the rest of the car won't run if the ASD relay isn't powering everything else.
If those look good, try jump starting it. If that doesn't at least make it want to turn over, then it's going to be in the relays and fuses. If it helps, your battery is dead, which is what I would bank on. (fuses and relays don't burn up without a reason to.)
