tac adaptor!!!!!!!!!!!!

the person b4 me who owned the car put in an aftermarket tac in my car and the redline is set for 2,800rpm and thats at 30mph in first gear!!! 
anyways i think estienmaier told me to get a tach adaptor or something like that??? can someone help me or get me a link for a tach adaptor???
