Electrical Problem

Post by 04_yelneon » Tue May 26, 2009 11:20 am

My car recently just stalled on me and then after restarting it, the engine light flashes and now runs like complete ass. It running extremley rough as if its not running on all 4 cylinders. Loss of power big time. I put my scan tool to it and it gave me 2 codes. 1st is P0113- IAC @ high curcuit, and P2305- Ignition Coil #2 Secondary Curuit Insufficient Ionization. I cant figure it out. Iv checked all my fuses and relays, everything checks out. Checked for voltage at the coil plug, the coil pack is getting power. While the car is running, I diconnect the battery and the car dies. Can someone point me in the right direction... Thanks

You can test to see if it is in the wiring by using a volt meter. try probe the wires and you should get 5V with the key On engine off. Wiggle the wires and see if it changes anything. If you still don't.. Go up the wire about 6-7" and slice off some of the outer wire so you can expose the core and test there.
If you get it farther up the wire, it's the connector to the IAC.

This could also be a FUBAR PCM
