I did the reverse blinker mod on my LED tails today as per LaidNeon's HT (viewtopic.php?t=57) But I skipped all the stuff about the 3rd brake light because I don't want it as a reverse light. But anyway, I have no brake lights anymore, which I discovered driving home tonight. Not a good time to find out. I'm pretty sure I did it all right, anyone have any idea what I could have done wrong? Anybody set it up differently? Oh, and I need brake lights by 5:00 monday morning, of course...



Edit: Hmmmm.... I think I might have found the catch, after reading over it 53 more times and trying to visualize it, pictures would have been quite helpful. It looks like I need to tap into the 3rd brake light power. If you have a thought, post it anyway.

Fixed. Spliced into the 3rd brake light power, which wasn't working either because I forgot to plug the trunk harness back in after doing the trunk blackout. New question though, I was holding off until the brakes were fixed. I'm getting ricer flash with everything except the stock reverse bulbs. Even an orange 921 bulb. Any ideas on why? It doesn't really make sense to me, they're all incandescent bulbs.
