clarification on PT alternator upgrade?

clarification on PT alternator upgrade?

ok going over some old threads with part numbers mentioned and everything, some of the alternators listed from the PT were SOHC and some DOHC.. does it matter which one you get for the neon or is the only thing you have to be concerned with the turbo/non-turbo?

looking at a local yard they have a 2004 Alternator Chrysler PT Cruiser w/o turbo for $35 so thats looking good.. but it doesnt mention DOHC/SOHC so does it matter?

also, one thread mentioned that the pulley is bigger or smaller (i forget) than the neon alternator.. how does affect things? anything to be concerned about?

just make sure the plug is the same or cut the pigtail off the harness. You can get different belts or swap on your pulley
