any reason why it would go out? i checked fuses and they are all good... what could it be?

Did you check in the PDC under the hood too? I think that's where that circuit's fuse is located.

IIRC the fuse for the lighter should be under the hood. thats all that was wrong with mine at the time.

i never did use that dam thing

i am willing to bet on the fuse as well but there is always the possibility that the connection came loose on the back of it. since it takes about 1 min and 4 screws to have it out that would be worth a check if the fuse is ok.

I thought MTV was for the Magnum Manifold. Pretty sure I don't have a fuse in that spot.

Sorry I was wrong:

The fuse for the cigarette lighter under the hood is the one between Spare and MTV. Check that.

It's fuse number 14, a 20A fuse.

If the fuse is good, check the circuit. If thats good then replace the socket.

all fixed now.. not sure what it was... there wasnt even a fuse in the 14 slot so i think that was it..

i think i might have taken it out once to replace another fuse... figured it wasnt important.. then forgot to replace it.
