to start of.. YEAH if used the search function.. NO i dit not found the answer
i ve instaled an aftermarker alarm.
everything went fine with the wiring of the door locks and the alarm exept for 2 things.
the alarm truns to arming if i dont turn the key within 20 sec.
it should react when opening the door.
i've found 3 types of wiring diagrams for my 2001 se non of them kan help me.
here's the wiring of the alarm:
and here's the wiring i used for the neon:
my alarm diagram says .. doortrigger - and doortrigger + ( think door trigger is the problem )
but neon diagram only gives - ????
it's driving me insane
ive tryed to get the + from the dome light .... it works ... but sets of the alarm when i close my doors.
tryed + and - from domelight .... doesn't work either.
can anyone PLEASE help me ... and by gentel with the words u use ... im not smart with wires or with englis
ok that was part 1 of the question... now part 2.
this relay isn't written on the alarm diagram .... what does it do ... where to use it ????

I don't know what "door trigger" means, but there are wires that run to the door latch. One is a power, one is a ground. That is what causes the dome light to come on when you open the door. That's the only thing I can think that door trigger means.

If it automatically arms itself it is because of a programming option. U should be able to turn it off. Passive arming is usually the name
you need to diode isolate these 2 wires in order for it to work.
Door Trigger tan/blk (D), lt. blue/org (P) - dr kick, door harn and harn to rear
Lastly if their is a diode on that relay harness more than likely it is the starter kill.
Hope this helps

theres indead an option to shut it of ... it a key thing, like on off on off on off and push disarm for 3 sec ...... but that don't seems to do the trick ???
about the wires you said "tan/blk, lt, blue/org" according to the diagram the doortrigger is yellow ???
my neon is a 2001 se ... are you sure to use those wires ?
i found out that using the dome light wires isn't going to work ... the dome light works with a "ground trigger" it has a constand 12v contact ... when opening the door the trigger grounds the light and the bulb goes on.
could you tell me more about "diode isolate" what kind of diode do u use ?
thanks for helping btw

yea the colors are the same for the door triggers.
you will find these wires in the drivers kick panel. These are the diodes you will need
http://www.radioshack.com/product/index ... =107590087
You will need 2. The silver stripe of the diode goes towards the tan/blk and lt. blue/orange then you tie the two other ends to the negative trigger wire of the alarm. Hope that made sense.
If you are getting a negative trigger at the dome light that should work just fine for the alarm if you wanted to cheat. You may get a delay on arming if your lights dims then goes out after the door is shut. I recommend the door latch way. Let me know if this worked out for you.
As for the programming options...I am not familiar with that alarm so I am of no help. Just be sure to read the instructions carefully and you may only have a few seconds to do everything. Keep that in mind.

ok did it like you told me ... but doesn't seem to work
the alarm goes of when you arm it.
i just think the damn thing is broken or something, because the "key program" wich could turn the function of doesn't work either.

cheap ass junk

LOL if your lookin for a cheap unit that will work I have one available Brand new in the box. Let me know. I will wire it up for you and send you a wiring diagram if needed. Heres the link.
